Yukon Black™ Proppants

Hexion’s Yukon Black proppants are an innovative curable resin coated fracturing sand available in 16/30 and 20/40 mesh sizes for Canada. These proppants are specifically designed for low temperature bonding in fracturing treatments down to 21°C (70°F) without the use of a consolidation aid. This provides high conductivity and the ability to help control the proppant flowback costs associated with well clean-outs, pump repairs, and down production time.
